During Ramadan, families gather at sunset to break their fast, a moment of warmth, nourishment, and dignity. For thousands of Palestinian and Sudanese refugee families, this sacred moment is marked not by abundance, but by uncertainty. Many refugee families do not know if they will have food to break their fast, or how they will mark Eid for their children after a month of sacrifice.This Ramadan, we are committed to ensuring that refugee families are not left behind. <h2>The Reality for Refugee Families During Ramadan</h2> Palestinian and Sudanese refugees and displaced families face daily struggles that intensify during the holy month:<ul><li>Severe food insecurity</li><li>Limited access to warm, nutritious meals</li><li>Mothers in Gaza are struggling to access essential maternal care during pregnancy and childbirth</li><li>Patients in urgent need of life-saving surgeries, many of whom are receiving treatment in Egypt</li><li>Parents are unable to provide Eid clothes or gifts for their children</li><li>Children experiencing Ramadan and Eid without celebration, stability, or joy</li></ul>For families already displaced by conflict and loss, Ramadan can become a time of quiet hardship instead of spiritual comfort. <h2>Our Ramadan Mission</h2>This Ramadan, our mission is to provide:<ul><li>Hot Iftar Meals</li></ul>Nutritious meals for fasting families, so they can break their fast with dignity and nourishment.<ul><li>Eid Gifts for Children</li></ul>Eid clothing, gifts, and essentials for refugee children — restoring joy, celebration, and a sense of belonging.<ul><li>Maternal Care for Mothers in Gaza</li></ul>Supporting expectant and new mothers with access to essential maternal healthcare, helping protect lives at their most vulnerable moments.<ul><li>Life-Saving Surgeries in Egypt</li></ul>Providing medical support for critical surgeries for Palestinians receiving treatment in Egypt — offering a chance at recovery, relief, and hope. We believe that Ramadan relief is not just about food — it is about mercy, dignity, and reminding families that they are seen and cared for. <h2>Why This Matters</h2>Ramadan is a month of mercy, generosity, and community.
