Our vision: To be North America’s leading charity in eradicating poverty through innovative, sustainable solutions.

Project Update!
In Sudan, war has emptied classrooms and left children hungry. More than 8 million children in Sudan are out of school. 21 million people are facing acute food insecurity. For as little as $1.50, you can give a child a warm meal and, with it, the strength to learn and a reason to return to school.
We're Rebuilding the Schools, and Feeding the Children
In Khartoum, we are restoring three schools: Alkhojlab Girls' School, Alkhojlab Boys' School, and Abu Bakr Alsiddiq School, into safe, functioning places to learn and grow, complete with clean water and proper sanitation. Together, these schools will serve 1,821 students who deserve the chance to grow and rebuild their lives and their c country. The situation in Sudan is devastating. According to UN News, 14 million people, or a quarter of the population, have been forced to flee, with 9 million remaining displaced inside Sudan and 4.4 million across borders. Mothers still carrying their starving children, the elderly collapsing from exhaustion, entire families are left with nothing but hope and their trust in Allah's mercy. But Droplets of Mercy USA is on the ground — standing shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters in Sudan. Our teams continue delivering food packages and medical aid and are also creating temporary shelters. As waves of new arrivals pour in each day, supplies are running low. We are racing against time — and we need you.

Your help on the ground:

Emergency food packages: nutritious staples to feed families who have had no reliable food for days.

Clean drinking water and water purification supplies: so children do not collapse from dehydration or waterborne diseases.

Emergency medicine, medical supplies, and mobile clinics: to treat wounded, ill, malnourished, pregnant, or breastfeeding mothers and children.

Hygiene and protection kits (especially for women & children), shelter materials, blankets, and essentials to survive harsh nights.

Coordination with trusted local partners who know the terrain, the people, the urgent gaps — enabling direct, effective delivery of aid.

Every hour delay means more children go without food, more mothers suffer without care, more families spend the night under open skies. With large scale displacement, medical and humanitarian access is shrinking and the risk of disease, famine and death grows. This crisis is not distant. It is one of the largest displacement emergencies in the world right now, and it demands our immediate action.

When you gave to our Sudan appeal, you chose to stand with families facing unimaginable hardship. We wanted to share an update on one of the urgent needs we're working to address: helping children in Khartoum return to school. Three schools are awaiting renovations that would restore classrooms, provide clean water and sanitation, and make daily meals available to students. Here's where things stand:

Alkhojlab Girls’ School: 593 students | $125,000 needed

Alkhojlab Boys’ School: 528 students | $110,000 needed

Abu Bakr Alsiddig School: 700 students | $115,000 needed

Our goal is to raise $350,000 to renovate all three schools and help 1,821 children return to a better learning environment. Every contribution brings these schools closer to reopening. Fully funding even one school could help hundreds of children return to a functioning learning environment.
What your next gift could make possible

$85 sponsors a child for a month

$750 helps provide school lunches for a day

$4,000 helps provide school lunches for a week

$7,500 helps furnish an entire school

$10,000 helps sponsor a classroom

You’ve already helped stand with Sudan. Will you help us take the next step?HELP REBUILD SCHOOLS IN SUDAN →We pray that Allah accepts your giving and makes it a source of lasting benefit for the children and families who need it most.
