Throughout the past 15 months, more than 100,000 Palestinians have escaped to Egypt. Most of them are children. 

They’ve experienced unimaginable trauma, leaving behind their homes, histories, and the graves of their loved ones — only to arrive in Cairo to with no sense of belonging. Stranded between exile and erasure, they are not counted or seen — not even as numbers.

But at Droplets of Mercy, we see them. 

Our team is working on the ground in Egypt to support these displaced families. We are providing urgent food, medical treatment, and orphan support. These children are resilient souls who deserve a chance to live a brighter life. Insha’Allah, together, we can make that happen.

Medical Aid for Children

Many children are currently receiving treatment in government hospitals or makeshift shelters. We're raising funds for:

• Prosthetics for injured children
• Mobile dialysis machines for in-shelter treatments
• PTSD therapy to begin the journey of emotional healing
• Basic illness & support for vulnerable youth

Orphan Sponsorship

We are launching an Orphan Sponsorship Program that includes food, shelter, education, and medical support. Every child deserves to feel safe again.

Living Support for Families

We also provide cash aid to patient families, helping them afford food, rent, and daily living expenses as they navigate a life in exile.

Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (PBUH) said:

“The one who meets the needs of his brother, Allah will meet his needs. Whoever relieves a Muslim of distress, Allah will relieve him of distress on the Day of Resurrection.”

Meet Ritaj!

Ritaj lost her entire family in Gaza and now lives in Egypt with her aunt. And somehow, despite her unimaginable loss, Ritaj is full of life. Her laughter filled the air when we held a small party for her and other orphaned children in Cairo. It was an honor to meet her.
