Sudan’s war has forced millions of families to flee their homes, many escaping with nothing but the clothes they were wearing.
Across the border in Uganda, thousands of Sudanese refugees are trying to rebuild their lives. Still, they face overwhelming challenges: no stable housing, limited food, minimal access to education, and almost no income opportunities.
At Droplets of Mercy, we see their struggle!
Droplets of Mercy's Sudanese Village of Hope was created to answer this crisis.
This community-led project supports Sudanese refugee families living in Uganda by providing:
- Safe Shelter
Repaired homes, sanitation support, and essential items that allow families to regain dignity and stability.
- Food Assistance
Nutritious food packs for children, widows, and vulnerable families struggling with hunger.
- Education & Youth Support
School supplies, early education programs, and safe spaces for children who have lost everything.
- Family Support & Community Care
Counseling, mentorship, and community activities to restore hope for families traumatized by war.
